Ms. Girón

Media Specialist

This is will be Ms. Girón's ninth year at KP. Ms. Girón has a M.L.I.S. in School Library, a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland, College Park, and recently earned her M.ED. in Educational Technology from Loyola University of Maryland. When she's not reading, she enjoys her time with her husband, who is also a media specialist, and their daughter, Emilia.

Media Assistant

This is Mrs. Carlin's second year at KP after spending the previous 7 years as a media assistant at Herbert Hoover Middle School. When not at KP or reading on her kindle, she likes to visit with her family, play with her dog Pepper, swim and travel.

Our Library Vision & Mission

Here at KP Media Center we hold the vision of a 21st century library which involves students in every day learning. The school library plays an applicable role within the school community, serving teachers, students, and its staff. At KP Media, students should be able to access the newest and most relevant selection of online resources and books. We hope to encourage students to learn more about the world around them through ethical research and their love of reading.
